Claire Young - The Apprentice Finalist

Claire Young shot to fame in series 4 of the smash hit BBC 1 ´The Apprentice´.

Claire was the no-nonsense sales woman who infuriated, then won over viewers to reach the final - becoming the biggest ever bookies favourite to win in Apprentice history. Nicknamed the ´Rottweiler´ for her ability to go after whatever she wants; many admired her non stop drive and were gripped by her transformation throughout the series.

Post Apprentice she turned down over 500 job offers, including a prestigious job with Karren Brady at Birmingham Football Club, to step out alone.   Post Apprentice life has been a whirlwind as she she successfully manages her business and media career.

Claire launched a prestigious venue management company, specialising in weddings, called Elegant Venues, www.elegantvenues.co.uk.

She has lost a whopping 3.5 stone and is a constant supporter of charity runs. Finally free of her well documented back problems (from wearing high heels!) she is an ambassador for the posture enhancing MBT trainers.

Claire is a TV natural and continues to commentate on business matters for many TV stations and is a regular seen on GMTV. Renowned as a chatterbox she particularly enjoys radio and keen to share her views she is a regular contributor to various magazines.

She is passionate about developing young people and has been involved in many projects; National Apprenticeships, National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurs, Enterprise Village and is an ambassador for Enterprise UK. Having shot up the career ladder at a young age she has become a regular on the speaking circuit for her inspiring, motivating and down to earth approach

Claire supports three charities – Cancer Research (does all their runs!), is on the committee, and Ambassador, for The Prince’s Trust and is an Ambassador for UK Youth.
