The London Borough of Greenwich is best know for its maritime history and being the centre for Time as it lies at 0 lattitude.  In 2012, The borough will become one of four Royal Boroughs which was annonced by the Queen in January 2010.  Greenwich in East London offers great views over the Thames and public transport includes Buses, Docklands Railway and the Underground (Jubilee Line).  There are many places to visit while in Greenwich including Musiums, Theatres, Restaurants, Local Retailers and not forgeting walks along the River.
