Greater Manchester is the 3rd most populated areas of Britain with an estimated population of 2,562,200.  Greater Manchester is made up of Ten Boroughs which include the City of Manchester.  The G-mex Exhibition Centre plays host to some big exhibitions throughout the year while the Iron age and industrial history within the area can still be seen.
