All about Britain Terms and Conditions

General

All about Britain (us/we) and we provide this services to our clients (you, your) so you can promote your business or organisation to our visitors. The information collected by us to show the listings is only used for that purpose only.

Persons over the age of 18 (eighteen) can create accounts or add listings.
 
If at any time you have an issue with your listing including payment, please write to us at All about Britain, 10 Godstone Road, Purley, Surrey, CR8 2DA.

At no time does All about Britain endorse your company or business. If at any time we receive negative feedback from visitors regarding your business, All about Britain reserve the right to cancel your account with no refund and without giving reason.

All about Britain reserve the right to amend, change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. We also reserve the right to change the price and service provided including the layout to your listings.

All about Britain reserve the right with your consent to use member’s listings within our own marketing and promotional material.

Free Membership for Charities and Non-profit Organisations

There is no limited period for listings within our Free Membership package.

Free membership is available to all registered charities, non-profit organisations, Places of worship, educational organisations including schools, colleges and adult education organisations, health organisation including doctors, dentists, clinics and hospitals but does not include chemists, complementary therapies and medicine.  We also include local groups and organisation including community projects, sport clubs (non-profit only) uniformed groups, children's activities and activities.

Within the membership packages, you will receive a basic profile, full page profile, access to log into your members area and our main web site, Add your own products and services, add documents, add images and banners.  All information submitted to us must be a true and correct description of the company or organisation. Any graphics or pictures used must have the copyright owner’s permission. You must have written consent of those within images or pictures which are used within this website.

The person requesting a membership must have the authorisation by the organisation to do so. Any information provided to us either via post or e-mail is done so at your own risk.

Business Membership

There is no limited period for listings within our Business Membership package.

Business membership is open to any business (sole traders, Self Employed, Retailers, Wholesalers etc).  All about Britain reserves the right to refuse a membership if they i) Feel that the content is not appropiate to show  ii) It can harm the reputation of our web portal iii) That you are providing a service or product we find to be inapropiate.

Within the Business Membership packages, you will receive a basic profile, full page profile, access to log into your members area and our main web site, Add your own products and services, add documents, add images and banners.  All information submitted to us must be a true and correct description of the company or organisation. Directory Listings and Functions

All Listings and items used to generate your directory listing remain the property of All about Britain. Under no conditions can they be used or distributed in any other form including electronically except for personal use. We add security measures to Profiles and if any organisation or persons is found to be information or contents from these listings, we will take legal action at their cost.

Visitors to our web site can leave Testimonials, vote, refer to a friend, bookmark and download your listing as a pdf. None of these services can be switched off and our generic throughout the directory section of the web site.

Products can be sold or bought via All about Britain Directories but we do not at any time endorse products or the businesses offering this service. If at any time we receive negative feedback from visitors regarding your product listing or we find that you are listing products which are illegal, fake goods, stolen items, All about Britain reserve the right to remove your Profile from our web site and report your activity to the police.

Payments

Payment is due in full before your listing is made live. At present you may pay either by Debit or Credit Card via our online merchant Paypal or Google Checkout. Once your payment has been received, you will be sent a receipt, which will be followed by an e-mail explaining where you can find your information.

All about Britain issue discount codes which business are able to use during the signing up process on our website.  Only valid and authorised codes may be used.  It is the responsibility of the person signing up for a membership to enter the discount code when the form requests it.  Discount codes cannot be used after this point and payments will be charged at a full rate.

If you make a payment via Paypal or Google and you have a complaint regarding actions with them, please contact them to discuss the issues.

All about Britain reserve the right to charge an extra £ 25.00 administration fee to your monthly charge if payments do not clear.

Interest will be added to late payments at 3% over the base rate set by Barclays. We also reserve the right to charge you for any costs we may accor collecting monies. This can include debt recovery or court costs.

At no time will we to refund payments for Memberships. We reserve the right to refuse, amend or delete Listings which we feel are necessary to do so or we are asked to do so by a legal enforcement.

Membership referral Scheme

All members of All about Britain are able to join our Referral scheme.  If a member invites another business which then creates a new Business Membership account, All about Britain will on a satisfactory completion of transaction, credit your own account with £15 per Successful activation of a new Member. 

All about Britain only pays commission on payable accounts which are new introductions only.  At no time do we pay commission on our free membership (Charity or Non-Profit Organisations).

All about Britain pays Commission to it's Members or Authorised agents on the 20th of each month.  Commission earned is paid directly into an Members or Authorised Agents (Re-sellers) Bank or Paypal account.  We do not pay by cheque or cash.  Commission is paid out on the 20th of each month following the monthly period the commission is earned.  For example, if you sign up 10 new Business memberships between Jan 20th to Feb 20th, you wil be paid into your bank or PayPal account £150.00 on the 20th March.

If for any reason you no longer wish to be an authorised affiliate or a member of all about Britain or you have broken our terms and conditions and been removed from All about Britain, you will no longer recieve commission payments.

Security

Your contact details including your e-mail address are stored securely and from time to time we will use it to contact you. You will automatically receive our business e-newsletter. If you do not wish to continue our business e-newsletter, you can un-subscribe at any time from any page of our main web site.

Due to the nature of offering this service, all registered users uploading information to our directory are logged using your I.P. Address.

All about Britain use Cookies throughout our websites to collect statistics on visitor habits. Registered users IP addresses are also recorded for security purposes only. At no time do we sell, lease or lend out our databases. All about Britain uses its own statistic software and third party software to compare visitor habits.
