Purley Railway Station is open Seven days a week.  Trains to and from the South Coast, Tatterham Corner, Caterham, Gatwick Airport and Crawley to London via East Croydon call at Purley Railway station.  The Ticket office is manned throughout the day and there is are ticket machines available next to the ticket office and at the Entrances both sides of the station..  Telephone number for enquiries is 0845 127 2920

Parking is available at the stations car park which is about five minutes walk away. Parking tickets available from the ticket machines. Disabled persons can now use lifts to all the platforms. 

Sanderstead Railway station is in Zone 6.   The Ticket office provides a small waiting area with a manned store selling newspapers for early morning travellers. There is also a coffee store available on platforms 4/5  If you are travelling towards Purley and the South Coast it may be easier to travel from Purley Oaks Station which is a five minute walk from Sanderstead Station.  Bus Routes 60, 127, 405, 407, 412, 466 are available in both directions for those travelling towards Croydon, Caterham, Coulsdon, Redhill, Tooting Broadway, Selsdon, Sanderstead, Riddlesdown and Kenley.
