Roller Derby in Gloucester is a full-contact, action packed sport on roller skates. An addictive sport to watch, bouts attract fans of rugby, football, boxing, and those who never thought they'd love an afternoon out cheering on their local team! Gloucester's roller derby league is training athletes to participate in competition in 2010. We are actively recruiting dedicated skaters and referees, and look forward to our opening season.

Come watch once and it's hard not to become a fan. If you enjoy roller skating, have a bit of an aggressive side, and are a female 18+ years of age who wants to join a democratic organisation where you'll achieve excellent fitness and be part of a supportive team, give us a shout. Full training is provided - roller skating experience is not necessary, but a positive attitude is. We would also love to meet men or women in the Gloucestershire area who want to join in the league antics as refs, announcers, trainers, or any number of roles.

We are actively recruiting dedicated females 18+ to become skating athletes and men or women to work in a variety of fun and challenging league roles.   Those of you who have never heard of roller derby are especially invited to do something different and enjoy watching a bout in 2010.  Like your first rock concert, it's hard not to become a fan.
